In the study field "Religion and theology", the 6th LKI/EKI level study program is being implemented, which corresponds to the thematic field ‘Religion and theology’ of the Latvian education classification: programme First Cycle Higher Education (Professional Bachelor’s) study program “Theology” (code 42221).

• Has knowledge of the main fields of theology, their interconnections, and interactions.
• Understands the practical significance and applicability of theology in contemporary society.
• Understands the origins of the Lutheran tradition, its historical context, and its relevance today.
• Understands the interdisciplinary nature of pastoral work.

• Able to organize, lead, and coordinate pastoral care work and religious activities;
• Able to explain questions of Christian teaching and life in a clear, engaging, systematic way, relevant to people’s interests and needs, while taking into account current issues and the experiences of society.
• Able to conduct applied research and apply its results in pastoral work.
• Able to maintain and improve professional qualifications and to care holistically for one’s spiritual, physical, and psychological well-being.
