We are pleased to announce lectures in Luther Academy 4-8 March, 2019 by Dr. theol. Roland Ziegler in the study course LUTHERAN CREEDS II. Lectures will be held every evening from Monday to Friday from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Roland Ziegler was born in Germany, studied in Tübingen and Erlangen Universities. Obtained M. Div from Oberursel Theological Seminary (1993), Dr.theol from the Eberhard-Karls University, Tübingen (2011). He taught at the Oberursel Theological Seminary, was a vicar in Berlin and pastor in Constance.

Since 2000 R.Ziegler has been a faculty member of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (USA) in.Systematic theology and Confessional Lutheran studies.

Dr. R.Ziegler will give a lecture course in Lutheran Creeds II, which is related to the following important creeds in Lutheranism:

- F.Melanchthon The Power and Primacy of the Pope,

- The Scmalcald Articles by M.Luther,

Formula of Concord created by the Commission of M.Chemnitz.

These documents from the 16th century increasingly show that the confessions of faith contained in the Creeds are not outdated and are even becoming more and more relevant.

Attending lectures is not only an opportunity to gain or renew your knowledge of Lutheran theology, but also to communicate with a high-level academic scholar.

All students and anyone interested are invited.

Lectures in English, translation provided.
